Shared tour E-Tickets

PLEASE NOT THAT ALL SHARED TOURS ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19.

  • Your e-ticket is valid on any of our shared tours on the date booked.
  • Your e-ticket is only valid during our scheduled opening hours
  • It is necessary to check in at our desk where you will be booked into the next available tour.
  • Tours typically depart within half an hour of check-in – however during peak times or on busy days this wait may be longer.
  • Every effort will be made to allow groups to sit together; however, due to the restrictions inherent in the boat design we cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit next to other members of your group.
  • Shared Tours will carry up to 12 people. Customers are asked to be mindful of other passengers and to treat them with courtesy and respect.
  • Cambridge Punters reserve the right to refuse entry to any customer who displays aggressive or inappropriate behaviour to either our staff or other customers.
  • Whilst every effort will be made to ensure your tour departs promptly, on busy days small delays may occur. This is a natural consequence of using a pre-industrial mode of transport on a busy waterway. Likewise, the estimated tour time of 45 minutes can vary dependent upon weather conditions, currents, traffic, and other acts of god. Customers with a tight schedule are advised to leave themselves plenty of time for their trip.

  • Your ticket is valid for a private tour at the time and date arranged

  • Punting is an outdoor activity and customers are advised to dress appropriately for the weather conditions of the day. Cambridge Punters are not your mother and are not responsible for dressing you.
  • We will attempt to provide blankets and umbrellas as appropriate, but these are subject to availability, not guaranteed, and may be unavailable on the day.
